The effective use of government support measures for business was discussed with residents of preferential regimes in Chukotka Region

FEDC “Chukotka” (a subsidiary of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation - FEDC) organized a seminar for residents of the “Chukotka” ASEZ, the Free Port Vladivostok (FPV), the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF), and potential investors. The event, dedicated to increasing the efficiency of state support measures for business, applying tax breaks and administrative preferences, was held with the participation of representatives of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation for the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, the Chukotka Development Fund, and the Chukotka branch of Sber.

"In Chukotka, 101 residents of preferential regimes are implementing projects under agreements with the FEDC. 55 residents work in the “Chukotka” ASEZ, 31 entrepreneurs use the benefits and preferences of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation regime, and 14 companies are implementing projects within the framework of the Free Port of Vladivostok regime. Businesses invest more than 1.2 trillion rubles in their projects and create more than 14 thousand jobs in the region.

Regular meetings with residents and potential residents allow us to discuss current issues on the most effective use of tax incentives and determine the most optimal set of support tools for individual projects. Specialists from the Federal Tax Service and regional development institutions actively participate in this work, answering questions that are important for business," said Pavel Bakulin, Director of the FEDC “Chukotka”.
