The transport and logistics center (TLC) will have an annual capacity of 300,000 TEUs (twenty-foot container equivalents) with a container storage area of 12,000 TEUs and a warehouse space of up to 14,000 square meters. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, NSZK will invest approximately 14 billion rubles in the project, creating approximately 300 jobs in the first stage and over 250 additional positions once the project reaches full capacity.
The TLC is being created within the framework of the strategic program "New Land Grain Corridor Russia-China," supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, and is included in the list of promising projects of the Intergovernmental Russian-Chinese Commission on Investment Cooperation. The TLC's key services include the relocation of containers from 1435mm-gauge fitting platforms to 1520mm-gauge platforms, cargo transshipment: from containers to trucks and back, as well as from truck to truck, comprehensive customs clearance, and the processing of necessary documents.
