The progress of the Russian-Chinese agropark construction was discussed at a meeting at the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation

A working meeting was held between Vitaly Altabaev, Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic, and Ren Jianchao, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Legendagro” Holding JSC.

The parties discussed current developments in the construction of a Russian-Chinese agropark in Primorsky Region as part of the International Advanced Development Area (IADA). The key projects of the agropark include the construction of a specialized port grain terminal and an oilseed processing plant (soybeans and rapeseed).

Altabaev and Ren discussed preparations for the Business Council meeting in Harbin (Heilongjiang Province, China) as part of the Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation between the Russian Far East and Northeast China. The 10th Russia-China Expo will be held there from May 17 to 21.

Also participating in the meeting were Oleg Vakhtin, Director of the Department of Investment Development and International Cooperation at the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East; Kirill Kamenev, Deputy Director General for Investment Promotion at the FEDC; Abdurazak Razakov, Deputy Director of the Investment Department at the FEDC; and Dmitry Savenkov, General Director of “Legendagro” Holding JSC.
