Far Eastern State Academy of Physical Education (Khabarovsk) is a participant in the academic leadership program "Priority 2030. Far East". Today, the university is implementing a series of large-scale projects, including projects within the framework of a consortium for improving the health of residents of the Far Eastern Federal District, created with the participation of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). The work of the Academy attracts young talented scientists, teachers and specialists from other regions of the country to Khabarovsk. "Today, scientists travel "for an idea". If we manage to attract people from other regions, it means that our goals, our scientific tasks are interesting to them. A good example is the story of Anna Lazutkina, who now works at the Far Eastern State Academy of Physical Culture in a scientific laboratory. Anna graduated from the Chita State Medical Academy and defended her PhD thesis in Krasnoyarsk. Her area of interest is preserving the health of sports industry workers, and she moved to Khabarovsk specifically to engage in this scientific field. There are many such examples. The Academy is developing, the range of our scientific interests is expanding. Scientists are moving to Khabarovsk for permanent residence, or are working with us both remotely and as part of joint research groups within the framework of consortiums created by the academy,” said Dmitry Zhevtun, Vice-Rector for Research at the Far Eastern State Academy of Physical Education.
