The Ministry for the Development of the Far East and Arctic and ASI will support the development of creative industries in the Far East and the Arctic

The Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) have entered into a cooperation agreement. The document at the Eastern Economic Forum was signed by the Deputy Head of the Ministry Elvira Nurgalieva and the Director of the Center for Development of the Creative Economy of the ASI Ekaterina Cherkes-zade. The agreement stipulates the terms of cooperation between the parties on the development of creative industries in the regions, including using programs for the socio-economic development of the Far East and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, as well as mechanisms of preferential regimes. “Our goal is to create new highly qualified jobs and double the contribution of creative industries to the gross domestic product of the Far East to 300 billion rubles,” said Elvira Nurgalieva.
