The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) have initiated a discussion on measures to improve access to medicine

The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the FEDC held a meeting on healthcare issues with representatives of the Far East regions. The participants discussed the functioning of air ambulances, the development of the “Zemsky Doctor” program, regional practices, and proposed measures to improve the provision of medical care in hard-to-reach areas. Elvira Nurgalieva, Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, emphasized the importance of improving the healthcare system in the Arctic and Far East. "Accessibility of healthcare is one of the priorities for the development of the Russian Far East and Arctic Zone. It is necessary to improve measures for both emergency and planned medical care. Together with colleagues, we have identified ways to solve important problems in organizing healthcare in these territories," said Elvira Nurgalieva.
