The creation of sustainable production chains will enable the stable development of creative industries in the Far East and the Arctic. This will create additional opportunities for residents of these regions, including jobs and space for self-fulfillment. This is especially important for women, who account for 70% of employment in the Far East's creative economy. This was told by Elvira Nurgalieva, Deputy Minister for the Development of the Far East and Arctic, at the strategic session "Women of the North: Traditions, Innovations, Creativity" at the Second Northern Women's Forum.
