Ulan-Ude will host the International Forum of Creative Industries "Created in the Far East" in 2026

The International Forum of Creative Industries "Created in the Far East" will be held in Ulan-Ude at the end of May 2026. The event will become the largest platform for the region's creative economy, bringing together representatives of creative businesses, the content industry, investors, development institutions, the expert community, and government agencies. The Forum's key objective is to drive the further development of the Far East's creative economy, based on creative potential, technology, and cross-industry cooperation.

In 2026, the Forum's agenda will be expanded to include an Arctic section, which will complement the main Far Eastern program. The key topic will be audiovisual content: its formats, global trends, and successful project cases—from idea generation to implementation, scaling, and monetization.

Elvira Nurgalieva, Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic, noted that the Creative Economy in the Far East is being developed as a comprehensive development model, integrated into city master plans and based on science, technology, entrepreneurship, and the region's symbolism.
