The opening ceremony of the International Forum of Creative Industries "Created in the Far East: From Content to Capital" (FCI) took place in Ulan-Ude. The forum, which runs from May 21 to 23, brings together representatives of the creative business community, government agencies, development institutions, investors, producers, directors, designers, musicians, and experts from 40 regions of Russia, as well as countries in the Asia-Pacific region. It is organized by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), and the Government of the Republic of Buryatia.

The opening of the forum was accompanied by a large-scale cultural program featuring leading Buryatia creative groups. Guests enjoyed choreographic and vocal performances, elements of national culture, a fashion show, and excerpts from the first Buryat ballet, "Beauty Angara." Before the ceremony, video presentations of creative industries centers in the Far East were shown on screens.

Head of the Republic of Buryatia Alexey Tsydenov noted that the forum has become a platform uniting the creative community and the region's economy.
