The competition of projects in key areas of the creative industries of the Far Eastern Federal District and the Russian Arctic is held with the support of the Ministry of Eastern Development of Russia, the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic (FEDC) and the Innovation Development Fund of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The final of the competition took place on May 23-24 in Vladivostok. The competition in the “Contemporary Art” accepted works by contemporary artists in the genres of painting, graphics, video art, digital art, street art, as well as art objects. In total, the organizers received 87 applications from artists from all regions of the Far Eastern Federal District and the Russian Arctic. Ten works from Vladivostok, Ulan-Ude, Khabarovsk, Magadan, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Yakutsk and Kavalerovo reached the finals. The winner and recipient of a prize in the amount of 1 million rubles was Natalya Goncharova from the Magadan region.
