Cadets of the fourth cohort met with Alexey Chekunkov

From September 17 to 26, the fourth educational module of the "Muravyov-Amursky 2030" program was held in Kamchatka. The highlight was a meeting with Alexey Chekunkov, Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic.

As is tradition in the program, the meeting focused on the history of the development of the Russian Far East and Arctic, major industrial projects, and the region's geopolitical role.

In his speech, Alexey Chekunkov noted that working in the Far East requires a special approach, considering the extreme climate, permafrost, low population density, and underdeveloped infrastructure.

"Here in Kamchatka, like nowhere else, our approach is expressed: a combination of physical exercise, mental challenge, and academic training, where the best teachers in the country work, preparing you for public service," Alexey Chekunkov concluded.
