On February 8, 2025, the interregional military-historical festival "Volochaevskie Days" will be held in the village of Volochaevka, Smidovichsky District, Jewish Autonomous Region. The event is dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the Volochaevka operation, which became one of the key events of the Civil War in the Far East. Since 2017, the festival has been held in a significant historical place - it was here that fierce battles between the People's Revolutionary Army of the Far Eastern Republic and the White Rebel Army took place in February 1922. Information support for the festival is traditionally provided by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).
The “Volochaevskie Days” Festival annually attracts over 2,000 spectators from the Far Eastern Federal District: Khabarovsk Region, Jewish Autonomous Region, Primorsky Region, Amur Region, and others. In 2025, an interactive program has been prepared, aimed at immersing spectators in the historical era and increasing interest in studying history. The main event of the Festival is a military-historical reconstruction of a combat episode of the Volochaevskaya operation, using samples of historical military equipment and artillery systems.
