The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation held job fairs in Arctic cities

The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), in collaboration with the “Olimp-Kadry” recruiting agency, held a series of large-scale job fairs in the Arctic. The events took place at five locations: The Employment Centers of Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, and Naryan-Mar, the District House of Folk Art in Anadyr, and the Komi Republic Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Syktyvkar. 152 regional employers took part in the fairs, including residents of the “Capital of the Arctic” ASEZ, the Free Port Vladivostok (FPV), and the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF), including the companies “Lavna” Commercial Sea Port”, “Mayskoye Industrial Park”, “Leto”, “Russkiy Losos” (“Russian salmon”), “ELIS OKNA”, and the “Tirvas ski resort” (resort “Bolshoy Vudyavr”).

Over 1,000 people attended the job fair in Syktyvkar. Thirty-seven employers presented over 200 vacancies (650 positions available), including drivers, heavy equipment operators, auto mechanics, plumbers, electricians, firefighters, retail workers, social workers, and others.
