The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation made a working visit to Harbin to strengthen investment cooperation with Chinese partners

A delegation from the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), led by Kirill Kamenev, Deputy Director General for Investment Promotion, made a working visit to Harbin, People's Republic of China. The trip aims to expand investment cooperation with key partners from Heilongjiang and Guangdong provinces, promote preferential treatment for Chinese investors in the Far East and Arctic, and promote projects in real estate, agriculture, logistics, and tourism.

The central event of the visit was a roundtable discussion on "Trade and Investment Cooperation between the Russian Far East and the Heilongjiang and Guangdong Provinces of China," organized jointly with the Heilongjiang Provincial Government.

During the event, Kirill Kamenev presented a system of preferential regimes for investors, including advanced development areas, the Free Port of Vladivostok, and new opportunities for the International Advanced Development Areas (IADAs), which will begin operations in 2026 and will focus primarily on high-tech projects with high added value. Particular emphasis was placed on such advantages of the IADA as a zero-profit tax rate for the first five years, stabilization of tax conditions for 15 years, and the possibility of opening branches of foreign banks.
