FEDC began construction of a building for the “Baikal” aircraft production plant in the Khabarovsk Region
The Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC) began construction of a plant building in the priority development territory (ASEZ) "Khabarovsk" in Komsomolsk-on-Amur as part of the creation in the region of an integrated center for the production of the LMS-901 "Baikal" multipurpose aircraft. The finished infrastructure will be transferred to the resident of the “Khabarovsk” ASEZ, the “Spetsaviatekhnika” company, for a preferential lease to organize the production of aircraft.
Construction and installation work of the production facility for the assembly of LMS “Baikal” aircraft is planned to be completed in June 2025. Under an agreement with JSC FEDC, the investor, a resident of the “Khabarovsk” ASEZ, the “Spetsaviatekhnika” company, will invest 500 million rubles in the new enterprise and create 80 jobs.
