Dmitry Klyuneev, Director of the Department for Development of the Fisheries Complex of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), took part in the exhibition and conference “Small-size and small-tonnage shipbuilding of Russia” (SLS Russia) in Kaliningrad.
The exhibition featured 19 exhibits. The event attracted over 2,000 industry professionals who were able to see a wide range of specialized equipment: welding power source devices, strength engineering analysis software, marine communications launch equipment, etc.
The experts discussed promising projects, import substitution and modern approaches in engineering education. They paid special attention to production processes, cooperation with regulators and adaptation to sanctions and considered the implementation of domestic IT solutions in shipbuilding. The participants noted the need to overcome dependence on foreign software, standardize data, consolidate the efforts of business and the state to achieve technological sovereignty of the industry.
