The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation took part in the 9th International Exhibition of Industrial Boiler, Heat Exchange and Power Generating Equipment Heat&Power, which took place in Moscow. As part of the session “Power supply of remote and isolated territories: implementation of modern technologies of local generation: the role of the state and business”, the head of the energy and housing and communal services department of the FEDC, Maxim Gubanov, spoke about the activity to attract private investment in this area in the Far East and the Arctic.
According to him, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, together with the “Energynet” Infrastructure Center, has prepared proposals for the implementation of new models of public-private partnerships that will improve the efficiency of investment projects to modernize inefficient diesel, fuel oil, and coal generation in remote and isolated areas.
