FEDC presented the potential of the Amur Region to investors from China

Irina Volkova, Director of the FEDC “Amurskaya” (a subsidiary of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation), participated in the Third Russian-Chinese Investment Development and Trade Cooperation Forum in Shenyang, which was held as part of an official visit to China by a delegation from the Amur Region Government, headed by the region's governor.

During the forum's plenary session and industry sessions, Chinese investors were presented with tax incentives and administrative preferences offered by the “Amurskaya” ASEZ and the International Advanced Development Area (IADA), as well as promising areas and growth points for strategic partnerships to attract investment from China.

During the visit, meetings were also held with Liaoning Province Governor Wang Xinwei, Shenyang Deputy Mayor Liu Kebin, and Russia's Consul General in Shenyang Natalia Pryzhkova. Agreements were reached to assist in finding Chinese partners to implement projects under preferential regimes in the Amur Region.

"The prospects for creating an IADA were a key topic of discussion. The Amur Region, with its powerful resource and geographic potential, will be one of the first sites to launch this mechanism. The strategically promising “Rovnoye” site will attract new projects, and the creation of an IDA there will open up additional opportunities for Russian and foreign businesses," said Irina Volkova, Director of the FEDC “Amurskaya”.
