FEDC presented measures to support creative businesses in the Far East

The TASS Far East regional information center held a press conference titled "The Primorye Code as an Economic Driver: The Role of Creative Industries in Regional Development." During the event, Vyacheslav Zavalin, Director of the Territorial Development Department at the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), told about the transformation of creative initiatives into local brands and current government support tools.

"FEDC systematically supports creative businesses in the Far East, from educational programs and infrastructure to promotional support and the creation of umbrella brands that enable the systematic promotion of creative entrepreneurs' products and services beyond the macro-region. To support the fashion industry, we created a showcase of Far Eastern brands on marketplaces. Over the past year, entrepreneurs have tripled their revenue to 250 million rubles. We place special emphasis on training personnel, supporting the establishment of a college for creative industries and modern workshops. We are also implementing a film production program in collaboration with Far Eastern Federal University and the Primorsky Region Ministry of Economy. "199 million rubles were invested in the films "Dog," "Béchamel," and "Palma 3," which are being filmed in Primorsky Region as part of the Cinema Fund's Far East grant competition with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Far East Development Fund," noted Vyacheslav Zavalin.
