The Creative Industries Development Plan for 2026 was discussed at a meeting of the State Duma Working Group at the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation

A meeting of the Working Group on the Development of Creative Industries in the Far East was held in Moscow at the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). The working group operates within the Expert Council for the Development of the Creative Economy under the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy and was created to develop proposals and mechanisms for the accelerated development of creative industries in the Far Eastern Federal District, as well as to coordinate federal and regional institutions in this area.

Representatives of federal and regional creative economy organizations participated in the meeting: Yulia Alferova, Director General of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Development; Alexey Bunkov, representative of the Internet Development Institute; Ilya Tokarev, Chairman of the Union of Creative Clusters; Irina Mastusova, Executive Director of the Animation Film Association; and others.

The meeting was chaired by Gasan Gasanbalaev, Executive Director of the FEDC.

The discussion focused on developing a creative economy action plan for 2026. Participants planned the launch of the FEDC scenario accelerator, two in-person modules of the "Creative Spaces Management" educational program, and preparations for the International Creative Industries Forum "Created in the Far East," which will be held in May 2026.
