The China International Investment and Trade Fair (CIFIT) was held in Xiamen, Fujian Province (Eastern China). The event brought together more than 50,000 participants from 119 countries and regions of the world, aimed at finding partners and attracting investments. Deputy General Director of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) for investment project support Sergey Skaly spoke at the key session dedicated to the presentation of the investment potential of Russian regions.
“Over 9 years, the Far East Development Corporation, under the leadership of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, has supported more than 3.6 thousand investment projects in various sectors with an investment volume of 10 trillion rubles, and more than 150 thousand jobs have been created. For the implementation of investment projects in the Russian Far East and the Arctic, the Government of the Russian Federation has created unique conditions: tax and administrative benefits, ready infrastructure, provision of land, a special regime of control and supervisory activities, the use of foreign labor without quotas, a guarantee of unchangeable conditions within the framework of the implementation of the investment project, support and assistance from the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation,” said Sergei Skaly.
