The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) took part in the conference “Energy Transition to the Far East: Renewable Energy Generation as a Source of Reliable and Affordable Electricity”, organized by the Association for the Development of Renewable Energy as part of the “Russia” exhibition. Head of the energy and housing and communal services department of the FEDC Maxim Gubanov spoke about the development of distributed generation in remote and isolated areas of the macro-region. “Our key proposal is the creation of a technology fund to provide technical and economic examination of investment projects and their further financing from existing government institutions,” said Maxim Gubanov. The FEDC initiative was included in the TOP 100 of the “Strong Ideas for New Times” competition and is currently being finalized with the support of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
