The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the Government of the Murmansk Region, and SZ "TRANSSTROYDEVELOPMENT" entered into a cooperation agreement during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. In the presence of the Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, Alexey Chekunkov, the document was signed by the Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis, the Deputy General Director of the FEDC for attracting investments Kirill Kamenev and the General Director of SZ "TRANSSTROYDEVELOPMENT" Evgeny Kunitsky. The agreement stipulates the terms of interaction between the parties during the implementation of the project for the integrated development of the residential microdistrict “Arctic Coast” in the Pervomaisky administrative district of the city of Murmansk. The volume of investment in the project will be 27 billion rubles. The project implementation period is 2024 - 2030. The project plans to build residential buildings and social infrastructure. Residents of the micro district will be provided with trade and service enterprises, leisure and recreation facilities, and open public spaces in the form of parks and squares. The project includes the construction of two kindergartens with 490 places. It is planned to preserve existing forest areas as much as possible on the territory of the micro district.
