The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) supports projects of aspiring entrepreneurs participating in the “Hectare” program. Following the results of the “Hectare Academy” educational course held in 2024 jointly with the Primorsky branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, FEDC has begun compiling a digest of the best hectare practices. It will include both implemented and under-development projects of the program participants. The Corporation's experts will support the implementation of these projects, provide their authors with methodological, consulting, and legal assistance, including in obtaining the status of a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV).
According to the Director of the FEDC’s Department for the Implementation of the “Hectare” Program, Yulia Tishchenko, the collection of promising hectare projects will feature developments in the fields of agriculture, tourism and recreation, animal husbandry, and rural settlement development. Among them are the “Khasanskoye Podvorye” project for growing, collecting, processing and selling fruit and berry products; the “Svoya Roshcha” project for growing trees from coniferous seedlings; the “Lavender Fields” creative natural art object project, and others.
"The selected projects "on hectares" have the potential to become residents of the Free Port of Vladivostok, receive state support measures, benefits and preferences. The possibilities of the Free Port regime are optimally suited for small and medium businesses. The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation will provide targeted support to projects, help their authors in obtaining the status of a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok, in the further development of their initiatives, which will work for the development of the Far Eastern region as a whole,” noted Yulia Tishchenko.
