On June 28, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) ceremoniously opened the “Career Space” area on the Central Square of Vladivostok. The event was timed to coincide with the celebration of the All-Russian Youth Day and the 165th anniversary of the founding of Vladivostok. The area has become a center of attraction for all those interested in career prospects and educational opportunities in Primorsky Region and the Far East as a whole, and will operate until July 5. The visitors of the site were able to get acquainted with promising projects and working conditions at resident enterprises, receive advice on employment, internships, career building and even try products from local manufacturers. Particular attention is paid to career guidance: visitors have access to interactive events, including a "fitting room" of professions using neural networks to choose the profession of the future. The “Career Space” presented over 1,350 vacancies from almost 30 resident employers in various industries, including shipbuilding (“Zvezda” Shipbuilding Complex), chemical industry (“NZMU”, “Gazprom Helium Service”), agro-industry (“Rusagro”, “Dobroflot”), construction (“DKK DV”), transport (“Sukhodol” Sea Port), services and tourism, as well as social services and healthcare. All positions offer modern working conditions, competitive wages and opportunities for professional growth.
