FEDC assists in training personnel for the Far East film industry
The Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) has launched a professional retraining program called "Film Production: From Idea to Premiere". Participants in the program study key aspects of film production: the work of a screenwriter, director of photography, directing, and the mechanics of promoting film projects on the market. Specialists from the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts (AGIKI, Yakutsk) are taking part in the FEFU educational program. The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Archives of Primorsky Region with the support of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).
The project's academic director, Muslim Tovbulatov, notes that the educational program "Film Production: From Idea to Premiere" is not just a course, but a full-fledged path into the world of cinema that can change a student's life.
"Program participants will be able to obtain not only the knowledge necessary to start and develop in the film profession, but also to develop important working connections with professionals in the industry. The program gives students the opportunity to make a name for themselves, participate in our experts' projects, teaches the mechanisms of attracting financing for film production, and provides the opportunity to enter the database of human resources for film production specialists in Primorsky Region. In addition to theoretical classes at FEFU, students will have the opportunity to travel to Yakutia and gain practical experience on the set of our partners,” said Muslim Tovbulatov.
