FEDC, ICJSC "AREAL" and "Science to the Regions" LLC will launch a career guidance program for future engineers

The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), “AREAL” International Commercial Joint-Stock Company (ICJSC), and “Science to the Regions” LLC signed an agreement at the Eastern Economic Forum to implement a program of career guidance and educational activities for high school students in the Far Eastern Federal District. The document was signed by Gasan Gasanbalaev, Deputy General Director for Social Development at FEDC; Mikhail Denisov, Deputy General Director for Government Relations at ICJSC “AREAL”; and Matvey Likholip, General Director of “Science to the Regions” LLC.

"For the Far East economy, it's crucial to foster schoolchildren's interest in engineering professions and demonstrate real prospects for professional development in the region. This is a key area of ​​work for the Corporation. The new joint program will connect schoolchildren's career guidance with the practical needs of enterprises and give them the opportunity to make an informed choice about engineering education," said Gasan Gasanbalaev.

The first phase of the program will begin in the Zabaikalsky Region and will involve at least 1,000 tenth-graders and 50 mathematics, physics, and computer science teachers fr om the regions wh ere “AREAL” operates. At least 20 program participants are planned to undergo targeted training and subsequent employment within the company's divisions. "Science to the Regions" will provide the educational and methodological components of the project, including working with teachers and conducting engineering tests.
