The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) and the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IMC) have signed an agreement aimed at strengthening investment and trade ties between the Russian Far East and Arctic and the Republic of India. The document was signed on February 27, 2025, in Mumbai as part of the IMC Bharat Calling conference, dedicated to international investment cooperation. “Cooperation with the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will open up new opportunities for attracting foreign investment into key sectors of the Far East and Arctic economies,” noted Sergei Skaly, Deputy Director General for Investment Project Support at the FEDC. At the international conference IMC Bharat Calling, Sergey Skaliy held a number of business meetings, where he presented the trade, economic and investment potential of the Far East and the Arctic, and discussed in detail promising areas of cooperation in the mining industry, wood processing, logistics, agriculture and agricultural processing.
