On April 18, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) will host the “Kuril Investor Day”, an event with the participation of representatives of government bodies, state corporations and businesses dedicated to the development of entrepreneurship in the Kuril Islands.
Sakhalin Region Governor Valery Limarenko will deliver a welcoming speech to the participants. Deputy Chairman of the Sakhalin Region Government Anton Zaitsev will talk about the investment potential of the Kuril Islands. The Director General of the FEDC Nikolay Zapryagaev will tell potential investors about the preferential regime of the Kuril Islands of the Russian Federation (KIRF) and the “Kuril Islands” ASEZ, preferences and reduced tax rates for residents. The topics of financing projects on the Kuril Islands, state support for the creation of tourism infrastructure, technological development and the potential of the Sakhalin Region will also be covered.
