JSC Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) and “Baikal Resorts” LLC signed an agreement on the construction and development of the “Vydrino” tourism and recreation cluster on the shores of Lake Baikal. The project will be an important step in the development of tourism in the Kabansky District and the Republic of Buryatia.
The agreement was signed by Deputy General Director for Investment Project Support of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) Sergey Skaly and General Director of Baikal Resorts LLC Ekaterina Inozemtseva.
The total capital investment in the project will amount to 2.9 billion rubles, and its implementation will create 400 new jobs. The “Vydrino” tourism and recreation cluster is planned as a modern recreation and entertainment center. Its unique advantages are a high level of design, environmental focus and an emphasis on sports activities.
In total, it is planned to accommodate at least 500 tourists at a time, and the entertainment infrastructure and sports facilities will be able to accommodate up to 1,500 people. For the implementation of the project, the KRDV will provide a land plot of more than 25 hectares, where the main tourist infrastructure facilities will be located.
