FEDC and the Indonesian Science and Technology Park agreed on joint projects for the development of the Far East and the Arctic

The Russia-Indonesia business forum is taking place in Jakarta, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries. The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) are participating in the forum program. As part of the business program of the event, Deputy Director General of the Far East Development Fund for Investment Attraction Kirill Kamenev visited the Science and Technology Park (STP) at the University of Indonesia (UI). The purpose of the visit was to consider new opportunities for launching joint projects between Russian and Indonesian scientific and industrial organizations aimed at developing the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. “The visit to the Science and Technology Park of the University of Indonesia confirmed the opportunities for expanding cooperation between our countries. The park's infrastructure and its research competencies open up new paths for implementing joint projects aimed at developing the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation. The work of the STP in light of the creation of the Innovative Scientific and Technological Center "Russkiy" is of particular interest to the Corporation. We see good opportunities for joint work in such areas as biotechnology, renewable energy and digital solutions. We plan to use the competencies of our Indonesian colleagues in the implementation of a number of INTC programs," said Kirill Kamenev.
