FEDC and the Association for the Development of the Fuel and Energy Complex will join forces to drive the technological development of the energy and industrial sectors in the Russian Far East

On the sidelines of the 11th Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, the Association for the Development of the Fuel and Energy Complex and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) signed a cooperation agreement. The document aims to implement investment projects within the Far Eastern Federal District and the Russian Arctic zone—including in the fields of local and distributed energy—as well as to foster industrial cooperation, introduce innovative technologies, and strengthen the country's technological sovereignty.

Key areas of cooperation will include fostering technology entrepreneurship, establishing collaborative chains linking industrial enterprises with research and educational organizations, and working together to localize production in the Russian Far East and enhance the competitiveness of Russian companies.

The parties plan to focus specifically on the technological modernization of local energy systems and the implementation of modern digitalization, monitoring, and dispatch control systems for energy facilities. The agreement provides for cooperation in the development of industrial and energy infrastructure, technological entrepreneurship, and import substitution.
