FEDC and “ArtMasters” will hold national finals for screenwriters and animators in the Far East

Speaking at a press conference marking the launch of the seventh season of the ArtMasters National Championship, Gasan Gasanbalaev, Deputy General Director for Social Development at the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), announced updates to two ecosystem tracks: "Theater and Film Playwright" and "Animation Artist." The corporation, in collaboration with the organizers, will develop assignments for these tracks. The winners will be determined in Khabarovsk, Russia's Far East.

"This year, for the first time, we are not just partners, but clients of the ArtMasters ecosystem. This is an opportunity for us to sel ect talented young people fr om across the country who will be involved in the film and animation industries of the Far East. There is a demand for new, interesting scripts and a Far Eastern accent. The finals will be held in Khabarovsk, and the best participants will have the opportunity to travel to the Far East in person and explore key locations," said Gasan Gasanbalaev.

"It's important to us that winning ArtMasters isn't just a diploma. We're creating an accelerator where the best scripts will be developed into applications to the Cinema Fund. We already have a separate Far Eastern competition with a budget of 200 million rubles, and we want the championship finalists to become full participants. With ArtMasters' resources, we'll be able to further strengthen the training of talent for the creative economy in the Far East and throughout the country," said Gasan Gasanbalaev.
