The “STANNUM” Strategic Metals Alliance Association and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) signed a cooperation agreement to develop the metallurgical industry in the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation. The agreement was signed by Leonid Gilchenko, Chairman of the Association, and Andrey Sharafutdinov, Managing Director of FEDC, on the sidelines of the “Minex Russia 2025” forum.
The document provides for the development of key areas for the extraction of strategic metals in the Far East and Arctic regions. The parties agreed to jointly participate in government, industry, and international events, collaborate in developing proposals aimed at improving legislation and regulation in the non-ferrous metals, rare metals, and mining industries, and collaborate in other areas.
