The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts (ASICA) and the Development Corporation of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are launching a unique educational program, "Creative Space Management," aimed at training practitioners in organizing creative clusters. The first cohort of students is scheduled to be trained in 2024-2025. Head of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East Alexey Chekunkov: "By 2025, 4 creative clusters will open in the Far East in Blagoveshchensk, Vladivostok, Ulan-Ude, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. In Yakutia, in the priority development area, the creative cluster "Kvartal Truda" is already successfully operating, created two years ago with funds from the Unified Presidential Subsidy. As part of the implementation of master plans in the cities of the Far Eastern Federal District, new public spaces are being built, museums, theaters, exhibition complexes, and other infrastructure in demand by Far Easterners are being expanded and updated. The new educational program will allow the formation of professional teams for managing creative clusters and will provide the region with specialists capable of solving large-scale tasks for developing the creative economy in the Far East.”
