The “Kalashnikov” Concern and the Russian Combat Sniping Federation have signed a cooperation agreement for the joint development of high-precision small arms

In Yakutsk, in the presence of Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, the “Kalashnikov” Concern and the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Public Organization "Combat Sniping Federation of Russia" (PCSPO "CSFR") signed a cooperation agreement to jointly develop sniper skills and long-range shooting. The document was signed at the “Sulus” Shooting Training Center during the third All-Russian Long-Range Shooting Tournament, dedicated to the memory of legendary World War II sniper and Hero of the Soviet Union Fyodor Matveyevich Okhlopkov.

The agreement envisages joint coordination of activities aimed at the military-patriotic and moral education of youth; the popularization of sniper shooting disciplines; the organization of scientific and technical cooperation and the acceleration of the development of sniper systems; and the development and implementation of new product projects for both law enforcement agencies and civilian use. The parties will also collaborate on the creation, development, and promotion of advanced small arms technologies.
