A cluster for the development of creative industries will be built in Blagoveshchensk as part of the implementation of the city master plan

In Blagoveshchensk, as part of the implementation of a long-term comprehensive plan for the socio-economic development of the city, a modern creative cluster will be built on the site of the old barracks. A competition has been announced to select a contractor for the design and construction of new facilities. “The cluster will be created on an area of 0.9 hectares. Its buildings will feature a lecture hall, an open library, a production center, a co-working space, workshops of local artists, cafes, offices and shops, and multifunctional public and business areas. There is a possibility of launching an educational center based on the cluster. It will host lectures on various areas of creative industries, industrial design for example. I especially note that the cluster’s spaces will be designed using “smart” technical solutions for the convenience of both its residents and visitors,” said Advisor to the Governor of the Amur Region, Director of the Territory Development Center Petr Strelets.
