A Chinese investor is participating in the creation of a construction company on Sakhalin

The “Stroydomcomfort” company, under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), is investing 250 million rubles in the acquisition of a special equipment for construction work. The project with the participation of capital from Chinese investors received the status of resident of the priority development territory (ASEZ) “Mountain Air”. The company will begin providing services in 2024 - constructing residential and non-residential buildings, including participating in the implementation of projects of other residents of the “Mountain Air” ASEZ to create a residential area and tourist facilities. About 300 jobs will be created. The “Mountain Air” ASEZ was formed in the resort area of the Sakhalin Region. Under agreements with the FEDC, 31 projects are currently being implemented there. Residents have already made investments worth 17.2 billion rubles, created more than 1,132 jobs, and implemented seven projects.
