In the city of Krasnokamensk in the Zabaikalsky Region one of the master plan projects has been completed – a major overhaul of the building of the branch of the Zabaikalsky Mining College named after M.I. Agoshkov. The college building has become modern and convenient for classes, and the educational process is more comfortable for both students and teachers. The implementation of master plan projects for 25 cities in the Far Eastern Federal District is supervised by the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). General construction and installation work was completed on an area of 1,050 square meters. The funding amounted to 40 million rubles. Thanks to the major overhaul, not only the external appearance of the Mining College has been transformed - new opportunities for training have appeared. Thus, a new workshop in the course of "Electrical Machines and Apparatus" has been opened in the college using funds from the Unified Presidential Subsidy. Since 2025, the educational institution has become part of the new educational and production cluster "Mining Industry", which will provide advanced training for specialists in the mining industry in partnership with the companies "Mangazeya Mining", "Udokanskaya Med", "Ustkara", "Bystra" and "Vertical".
