Kamchatka will help increase the supply of fish products to Russian stores

The Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, hosted a round table dedicated to the implementation of the social project "Affordable Fish". The goal of the project is to promote Russian fishery products to the domestic market. The meeting was initiated by the government of the Kamchatka Region and the Fish Union. The event was attended by representatives of the enterprises of the fishing industry, distribution companies and retail chains. Residents of Russia will see the first results of the “Affordable Fish” project by the end of August 2023, when the products of Kamchatka will be sold by the “Vkus Vill” and “Globus” retail chains, deliveries to the “Lenta” TS are expected by the end of September. A total of 3,000 tons of aquatic biological resources will be sold in stores in the central part of the country.
