How to develop a creative economy in the Far East was discussed at a meeting of the Working Group in the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation

A meeting of the Working Group on the Development of Creative Industries in the Far East was held in Moscow at the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). The Working Group operates within the framework of the Expert Council on the Development of the Creative Economy under the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy. It was created to formulate proposals and mechanisms for the accelerated development of creative industries in the Far Eastern Federal District regions and to coordinate the efforts of federal and regional institutions in this direction. The members of the Working Group focused on the results of the International Forum of Creative Industries “Created in the Far East: from creativity to economics”, as well as on the work to launch the second stream of the professional retraining program “Management of creative spaces” and the preparation of the Far Eastern creative agenda for the anniversary 10th Eastern Economic Forum. "The forum in Yakutsk was not just a bright event, but a real step towards institutionalization of the creative economy in the Far East. We are moving from discussions to systemic work: we are launching educational programs, supporting projects through accelerators, the Cinema Fund and grant mechanisms. Our task is to create clear and sustainable development routes for entrepreneurs, artists, producers and creative managers in the regions of the Far East," emphasized the executive director of the FEDC Gasan Gasanbalaev.
