On the eastern coast of Kamchatka, construction continues on a new road from the village of Zaozerny to Khalaktyrsky Beach, one of the most visited and recognizable natural sites in the region. The work is being carried out within the framework of the long-term plan for the comprehensive socio-economic development of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky urban district until 2030, approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation. Financing is carried out at the expense of a special treasury loan. In the region, the work on the implementation of state programs aimed at the comprehensive renovation of cities in the Far Eastern Federal District is supervised by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).
Finishing of the road will be an important stage in ensuring sustainable development of the eastern coast of Kamchatka. The new route will give tourists access to one of the most impressive natural locations in Russia and at the same time create conditions for the growth of domestic tourism, employment, small business and a comfortable environment for residents of the region.
