Import substitution. A resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV) special economic zone will begin producing all-terrain ATVs in 2027

“VOSTOKENERGO-SU 8”, an FPV resident, will launch a SKD assembly facility for all-terrain ATVs in Spassk-Dalny, Primorsky Region. The facility plans to produce a wide range of vehicles with engine displacements ranging from 125 to 300 cc, including all-wheel drive versions. The facility will begin operations in the third quarter of 2027 and will be capable of producing up to 132 ATVs annually. The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of International and Foreign Economic Relations of Primorsky Region. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the investor is investing 11.6 million rubles.

"The ATVs will be assembled using a special technology that will minimize the production cycle and adapt the products to the requirements of the Russian market. The facility will assemble, test, and prepare the equipment for sale, with subsequent service available. The ATVs will be equipped with a modern dashboard, reinforced wheels, hydraulic brakes, and additional outfit, including winches, towbars, and hand protection," said Pavel Samostaev, General Director of “VOSTOKENERGO-SU 8” LLC.

As the resident noted, the production is aimed at replacing imported equipment on the Russian market. The company's status as a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok, which provides tax breaks and administrative preferences, will allow it to reduce production costs while maintaining high quality.
