The “GLADIY” company, as a resident of the “Mikhailovsky” ASEZ, will launch the production of sawn veneer and other finishing materials made of natural wood in the city of Arsenyev in Primorsky Region. The enterprise will begin operations in 2026, its design capacity will be 60 thousand square meters of finished products per year. Under the agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the investor will invest about 106 million rubles and create 26 new jobs.
"The main activity of the factory will be the production of sawn veneer. The capacity of the enterprise will also allow the production of sports floors, parquet boards, ceiling and wall panels. Modern equipment and natural materials, including oak and aspen, will ensure the high quality of finished products. It is important to note that raw materials for the production of veneer will be purchased from suppliers in the Primorsky and Khabarovsk Regions. The supply of glue will be carried out by Russian companies. This approach creates an enterprise completely independent of imports and contributes to the development of the region's economy," said Yaroslav Burim, General Director of the “GLADIY” company.
Alexey Dunayev, Director of the FEDC “Primorye”: "Development of the forest industry complex is one of the priorities for the Far East. The region has enormous forest potential, which must be effectively realized, including through the creation of high-tech production facilities. The launch of a new enterprise for the production of finishing materials is an important step in this direction. The implementation of the investment project for wood processing will ensure the creation of new jobs, as well as create opportunities for profitable cooperation with enterprises of the logging and chemical industries of the region and the country as a whole."
