The company "Rutil" is organizing the production of premium-quality hip, knee, elbow and other endoprostheses in the city of Arsenyev in Primorsky Region with the status of a resident of the advanced development territory "Mikhailovsky". The production complex will begin work in 2025 with the production of hip endoprostheses. The design capacity will be 50 thousand items per year. According to the agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), over 100 million rubles are being invested in the project.
“In 2025, we will begin producing hip endoprostheses of our own design using modern technologies from high-quality materials with a full production cycle in Russia. At the moment, a prototype has been manufactured, which has passed all the necessary certifications. We will start with 5,000 sets, in November 2026 we plan to reach 10,000 sets, moving towards the planned capacity of 50,000 items per year. Analysis of data on domestic manufacturers indicates that the market is saturated with completely domestic products by no more than 7%. Our goal by 2027 is to occupy 60% of the Russian market for public procurement by substituting imports. From 2027, we plan to meet the needs of public procurement by 80%, as well as master the production of knee and elbow joint prostheses, begin work in the direction of pediatric orthopedics, enter the markets of the EAEU, Southeast Asia and India," said Leonid Kolesnikov, General Director of “Rutil” LLC.
