A resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV) has put into operation a wholesale distribution center for the storage and transshipment of food products - the Zarechny Refrigeration Plant. The new facility, located in Vladivostok, is involved in the distribution of chilled pork produced by the “Mikhailovsky” Advanced Special Economic Zone (ASEZ) resident “Rusagro-Primorye.” The enterprise, which transships more than 1,500 tons of products per month, makes it possible to reduce the share of imports of frozen meat products in the Far East. Under an agreement with the Russian Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), investments in the project have so far amounted to 119.2 billion rubles.
