On March 20, 2025, the III All-Russian Youth Arctic Forum was held in St. Petersburg, dedicated to current issues of Arctic development, maintaining stability and increasing the environmental sustainability of the region, as well as involving youth in the Arctic agenda.
The forum became a platform for engaging young specialists in a dialogue on international cooperation in the Arctic. The event contributed to the consolidation of the Russian youth community in matters of sustainable development of the region, maintaining the ecological balance and activating scientific and technical cooperation considering modern geopolitical challenges.
During the forum, representatives of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation were connected to the broadcast. The topics of the speeches were the security and development of the NSR, the development of minerals on the Arctic shelf, the role of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in ensuring the security of the region, the architecture of Arctic cities, changes in the natural environment and other topical issues.
Following the forum, the participants adopted a resolution reflecting their understanding of the special strategic importance of the Arctic zone for the Russian Federation, its role in strengthening the country's energy potential, expanding logistics capabilities, attracting young personnel to the region and ensuring national security.
