State for business: SAR participants on Russky Island note the high quality of support from the FEDC

In the Far East and the Arctic, preferential regimes– mechanisms for state support of entrepreneurship are in effect under the management of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). The Special Administrative Area (SAA) on Russky Island in Primorsky Region is a territory with a flexible tax and currency regulation regime for companies that have decided to transfer from a foreign jurisdiction to a Russian one. This preferential regime allows attracting capital and investment to the Russian Federation, deoffshorizing the country's economy and stimulating the development of Russky Island. According to the “State for Business” standard of the federal project “State for People”, FEDC specialists use a client-centric approach: in a “single window” mode, they help companies register and provide administrative support. The influx of new residents to the SAA on Russky Island is increasing every year. The preferential regime is developing intensively largely due to the effective interaction of business and FEDC as a management company. Consulting company “Kept” conducted a survey of current residents and potential participants of the SAA on Russky Island. 71% of respondents choose the SAA on Russky Island due to the effective and customer-oriented work of the FEDC and the presence of positive experience of interaction earlier. Residents note the high competence and efficiency of the Corporation's employees, the convenience of interaction with the company, assistance in solving non-standard issues and a systematic approach to supporting residents, willingness to help.
