Alexei Chekunkov, head of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, met with representatives of the “First Persons” Club, which unites the owners of companies that are leaders in the food business in Russia. Strategies for the emergence of federal retail chains to the Far East, cooperation of market participants with local manufacturers were discussed. The key topic on the agenda of the event was logistics, the effectiveness of which directly affects the economics of projects implemented in the region by federal players.
The meeting was attended by the heads, owners
and founders of such companies as “Pyaterochka”, METRO and “Magnit” (the
largest federal retail chains), “Grain Holding” Group of Companies
(manufacturer of bakery products and flour), “Russian Sea” JSC (distributor of
fish products and seafood), “Fresh In Pack” (warehousing and commodity
processing of fruits and vegetables), “Kabosh Group” of Companies (full-cycle
agricultural holding for the production of milk and cheese) and other
enterprises.
