The «Gamma» company has begun construction of a Class A logistics complex in Vladivostok with an area of 11,000 sq. m. with office space of 1 thousand square meters. The modern warehouse will meet the needs of enterprises reorienting from Europe to Asian markets. The resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV) plans to commission the facility in 2024. Under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, the «Gamma» company will invest 383 million rubles in the project.
“The Far East needs new logistics facilities.
Their presence directly affects the growth of cargo flows, the development of
economic relations both within the macroregion and beyond, including the growth
of foreign economic relations. The FPV regime has shown its effectiveness in
unlocking great logistical opportunities, the favorable location of the Far
Eastern Federal District in the Asia-Pacific region. Logistics and transport is
one of the most popular industries among investors. FPV residents are implementing
254 projects there. The total volume of declared investments is 389 billion
rubles, of which 145.3 billion rubles have actually been invested. Investors
have already created 9.3 thousand new jobs, and in total, about 19 thousand
people will be employed at logistics enterprises,” said Sergey Skaliy, Managing
Director of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.
